Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I register to join?

To register, go to https://www.storywritingschool.com/courses/enroll. You'll need a Gmail address to go through the enrollment process.

What happens after registration?

After registering and paying, you'll receive an email with the Google Classroom code and other details early in the morning of Day 1. You'll join the class using your Gmail address.

What will happen in the program?

You'll have access to the course content as soon as you join the class. The course content consists mainly of short text lectures and a lot of writing exercises. You'll learn how to write by writing; each of our courses has a target output, which you'll have after accomplishing all the exercises. To receive a digital certificate, you must submit the completed exercises before the end date of the class. However, you may also opt not to submit your answers if you don't want or need the certificate.

Storywriting School will assign you a personal writing coach to help you maximize the course. The writing coach will set an appointment with you for a coaching call. Your coach will also give feedback on your exercises whenever necessary.

Lastly, the day after the end date of the class, there will be a live Q&A with Dr. Joem Antonio where he'll answer whatever questions you may have about the topic of the course. This is to simulate the open forum which Dr. Joem does at the end of our face-to-face classes.

Those who submit the required exercises by the deadline will receive a digital certificate the week after the end date of the class.

Are there any requirements we have to prepare before the program starts?

None, apart from having a Gmail account.

What are the technical requirements in attending the online classes?

The minimum requirement is a Gmail account, which you'll use to access the Google services involved in the course (Classroom, Drive, Docs). Since our content is in text format, Storywriting School doesn't require advanced hardware or much bandwidth.

It is advised that you use a laptop or a desktop computer to do the coursework. There will be a lot of going back and forth between exercise documents, so having multiple tabs open will help. However, it will still be possible to use a tablet or phone with the appropriate apps to go through the coursework. It will just be less efficient.

I just saw the promotions about the workshop, but I want to join the classes. Do you accept late enrollees?

Yes, Storywriting School accepts late enrollees, but the fee will be higher. Please email info@storywritingschool.com or text 0905-5762197 if you're registering late so that they can expedite your entry into the class.

Where can I direct all my questions about the program?

You may email info@storywritingschool.com or text 0905-5762197 for any inquiries or concerns.
